Paver Driveways
If you are looking to upgrade the curb appeal of your home, you have found the answer. Pavers transform your driveway into an elegant cobblestone entry that not only changes the look of your home, but also how you feel about it. Most driveways are made of either concrete or asphalt. Most driveways have unsightly cracks. Pavers change all of that.
When you are thinking about
your driveway, there are a few options at your disposal. You can use
either thick pavers or
thin pavers. Thick pavers are traditionally considered the
correct way to pave an area that will withstand heavy vehicular traffic. This
type of application requires the excavation of your existing concrete or
asphalt drive, therefore it tends to be a little more costly than thin
pavers. Thin pavers lay on top of your existing concrete. Thin
pavers are a good alternative to thick pavers for light vehicular traffic. Thin
pavers should be
considered a cost alternative to 2 3/8" thick pavers. You save money
and time by not having to excavate your existing surface, usually $1 per
square foot.

Park Avenue Pavers will remove the existing driveway.
This process normally takes one day. The next morning base material
is delivered to the site, spread and compacted. Preparing the
base is a step that is crucial to the longevity of the driveway.
Depending on where you live and type of soils in your area, more
base may be needed in order to properly install the pavers. Once
the base is ready, the pavers are laid. There are many different
shapes, colors, and patterns to decide on and Park Avenue Pavers
will assist you throughout that process.
“We have lived in this house for 25 years and
have done everything to it. From new floors, granite countertops,
we added a pool, and built an additional 3 car garage, but this
driveway has done more to dress up our home than any other project
we’ve ever completed!” ---Burt C. Longwood, FL 4000 sq. ft. driveway
